Welcome to the second EtsyInspired in 2010! It's so hard to believe we've begun a new year and been in it for 2 weeks already!!!! But on with the show... This week's shop is Skylar's Candy Clips - a store filled with yummy handmade hair goodies and accessories! Skylar's Candy Clips has a variety of cool products such as headbands, infant hairclips, ponytail holders, summer hats, baby beanies, and even beach bags! Each item is designed and handmade with lots and lots of love by Skylar's (and Peyton's and Deacon's) mom!
Here's my card! For the layout, I used the Limelight Papercrafts Sketch #38 which required the use of buttons as well. Check out the LLPC blog for all the details and to play along to win some awesome BG stitched buttons! The inspiration came from the two pieces I noted in the above pic. I was also thinking, since it's Valentine-y, I may use this for the Cards for St. Jude project (click graphic in right column for details). I hope to make several different types this weekend to support the project.
